BATS' Jak Dabrowski was the difference between the sides as his maximum helped his team to victory against a determined Suma 1 in a thrilling Pennine Tool Hire Halifax League Division One clash.
Dabrowski was well supported by the returning Bob Gillespie who made an excellent return with two wins as BATS while Adrian Walker led the way for Suma with two wins.

But despite Matt Pinnell and Steve Thomas chipping in with one victory apiece at
the expense of Tom Whiteley, it was not enough to prevent BATS securing victory.

In Division Two, John Davenport scored a treble for David Browns B against Embassy C but it proved in vain as his only support came from Keith Broadbent who won a single set and his side slipped to defeat against an Embassy side for whom Craig Sherrett and Hugh Chambers grabbed two wins and Roy Oldroyd one.

The Association's AGM will be held tonight at 7.30 and will be preceded by the presentation of Winter League trophies.
