SEVE Ballesteros has vowed to use all his legendary fighting qualities he prepares to battle a brain tumour, and said he was now ready for what he described as "the most difficult game of his life".
The 51-year-old was taken to the intensive care unit of a Madrid hospital after fainting last Monday and after tests uncovered the tumour this weekend, he will undergo a biopsy tomorrow.
"Throughout my career I have been one of the best at overcoming obstacles on the golf course," he said. "And now I want to be the best, facing the most difficult game of my life, using all my strength."
