UK Productions is celebrating the fourth triumphant year of its highly successful national tour of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, which has received rave reviews and played to capacity audiences across the UK since April 2005.
Beauty and the Beast returns to the UK following seasons in Malaysia and Dublin to continue its national tour from Thursday at Leeds Grand Theatre.

Other stops include Hull, Blackpool and Manchester ahead of playing a resident Christmas season at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.

A tale as old as time, Disney's multi-award-winning musical is one of the most popular and enchantingly romantic fables ever told.

Seen by over 25 million people worldwide and nominated for nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, this sumptuous show has wowed audiences worldwide with critically acclaimed, record-breaking runs in London, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Sydney and Tokyo.

Prior to its latest dates, the show visited Kuala Lumpur and Dublin for resident seasons during 2008.

Featuring Mrs Potts and Chip, the hilarious double act Lumiere and Cogsworth, Gaston the town hero and, of course, the beautiful Belle and fearsome yet kind-hearted Beast, this enchanting story takes audiences from a small provincial town in France, through the shadow-filled woods to the Beast's mysterious castle, all accompanied by the well-loved songs from the show including Be Our Guest, Human Again and Beauty and the Beast.

Matthew Cammelle, who previously played the title role in the West End production of Phantom of the Opera, plays the Beast alongside Ashley Oliver as Belle.

Beauty and the Beast is at Leeds Grand Theatre from Thursday until Saturday, September 13.

Tickets, £10.50 to £35, are available from the box office, tel: 0870 121 4901.
