A REGGAE band whose singer toured with Bob Marley will be playing at Brighouse Gala.
Ten-piece Gabbidon have been signed up by Wes Brookes, from Highroad Well, Halifax. Wes's own band, Resonation, are also performing.

He says he has known singer Basil Gabbidon for years and invited him to travel from Birmingham to play.

As a member of Steel Pulse, Basil toured with Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1978 and The Police and The Clash in 1979.

Gabbidon will join Resonation, Crosscut Saw and Cyclone Pink to perform at the gala on June 28.
