Friday
Maurice Jagger Centre: 10am, coffee and lunch.
Forest Cottage Community Centre: 10am, t'ai chi.
St Michael's Church, Mytholmroyd: flower festival, "The World of Music", until Monday, August 25.
Opening times: Friday, 10am-7pm; Saturday, 10am-7.30p
m; Sunday, 12.30pm-6.30pm, Monday, 10am-6pm. Organ recitals and refreshments available. each day.

Saturday
Calderdale Wildside: syrups, crumbles and pies, meet Jacqui in the car park off Heathy Lane, Beechwood Park, Holmfield, at 1pm for a walk to discover how wild food can be turned into puds and sweet treats.
Halifax Parish Church: organ recital, noon, Ian and Matthew Shaw, Halifax Parish Church.
Autumn Tints: Easy Riders are visiting Carolyn in the morning for coffee before going for a ride in the area, meet at 9.30am on Godley Bridge. Contact Philip Lees on 01422 357632.

Arts Festival Shop, Albert Street, Hebden Bridge: Camera Club annual exhibition of prints, 11am-4.30pm, until Saturday, August 30.
Hebden Bridge Methodist Church: afternoon teas, 2-4pm.
Heritage Walks in Calderdale: history, folklore and literature around Popples, Slack and in Heptonstall plus landmarks related to Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath, meet John Billingsley at 2.15pm the Bowling Club car park, off Valley View Road, Heptonstall.
Calderdale Wildside Walk: The Withens, meet Mick Chatham 1pm outside St John's in the Wilderness Church, Crag Vale for a 6-mile walk.

Sunday
Calderdale Wildside: People's Park 2-4pm, brass band.
Calderdale Wildside: brass band concert, Wellholme Park, Brighouse, 2pm, to listen to Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band.
Halifax Cyclists' Touring Club: West Yorks D A ride, meet at Calder and Hebble Junction 7.45am for a ride to Huddersfield bus station 8.30am for a "Tri-mine-too", organiser John Radford, 01484 851480.
Ramblers' Association Calderdale: Pennine Way in Calderdale, third part of three walks, meet 10am at Clough Foot/Widdop Road, 10-11 miles C,M, contact Mick Chatham on 01706 379318.
Heritage Walks in Calderdale: Midgley Moor, a three-hour moorland walk for regular walkers equipped, meet John Billingsley at 2.15pm by the Hare and Hounds.

Autumn Tints Cycling Comrades: A section have a scenic route to Newmillerdam, Wakefield, similarly the Easy Riders will be cycling to the Tea Pots Cafe, Cleckheaton. Halifax Art Society: Oddfellows Hall, Coleridge Street, Halifax, 7.30pm. Open workshop, gives you time to work on your paintings.
Calderdale Wildside: the eastern side of the Valley, meet Mick Chatham outside Walsden Railway Station at 9.30am for a 5-mile walk (back in time for lunch but will include a stop for a drink – please bring one with you).

Huddersfield Advanced Motorists Group (IAM) will be holding their next meeting at The Royal British Legion Club, Scar Lane, Golcar; 7.30pm for 8pm. When an IAM Examiner will be guest speaker. Everyone in the Huddersfield, Halifax and Bradford area is warmly welcomed, come and see us and have an enjoyable evening. Do you want to take your advanced test? Come along and find out.

Saturday, September 6
Rushbearing Weekend at St Paul's Methodist Church afternoon teas 1.30-4.50pm. Rushcart procession will arrive at 3.45pm.
