MUSICAL masterpiece Evita opens at Leeds Grand Theatre on Monday.
West End performer Louise Dearman will play the role of Eva Peron, wife of the former Argentine dictator Juan Peron. From ambitious beginnings, she gained wealth and power during her ultimate rise to being adored by the nation.

Louise's musical theatre credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, Kiss me, Kate and Guys and Dolls.

Evita, by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, features some of the most famous and inspiring stage music ever written, including Don't Cry for Me Argentina, Oh What a Circus and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.

The show runs until Saturday, August 30. Tickets range in price from £10.50 to £32.50 and are available from the box office: 0844 848 2701.
