FOOTBALL, face painting and a photo-call will be among the highlights at the first ever open day run by FC Halifax Town.
Sunday's event at The Shay, organised by Halifax Town Supporters' Club and Supporters' Trust, promises a feast of family entertainment.

Gates open at 12pm and admission is £1 per adult. From 1pm visitors will have the chance to meet Jim Vince's newly assembled squad and be able to take part in the first ever photo-call – a great memento for Town fans.

Live music will come from local bands Northern Glory and Hooch as well as Birmingham outfit Fairfield.

Fans will have chance to play against a Halifax Town five-a-side team and there will also be traditional gala fun including a tombola, bouncy castle, face painting and games. A race night from 5pm in the Southdale lounge will round off proceedings.
