EXOTIC cocktails and delicious ice cream are on the menu tonight (Friday) as Hebden Bridge Picture House celebrates the first night of hit movie Sex and the City.
The film has moved from the TV to the big screen and stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth and Jennifer Hudson.

It takes the audience through the ups and downs of favourite friends Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda as they juggle jobs and relationships, all the while navigating motherhood, marriage and Manhattan real estate.

Picture House manager Jonny Courtney said: "This is the film phenomenon which is thrilling audiences throughout the world and is coming to Hebden Bridge Picture House for four unmissable screenings.

"Such a sensational film demands a sensational first night, and that is exactly what we're going to do.

"This is THE occasion to slip into something gorgeous and be part of the Sex and the City lifestyle. Audiences can enjoy exotic, alcohol-free fruit cocktails, locally-made scrumptious Just Jenny's ice cream and then move on to B@r Place for the glam after-party. It's going to be a night to remember!"

Tickets are £4.50 each - doors open at 7.15pm with the film being screened at 7.45pm. It will also be shown tomorrow at 7.45pm, Sunday at 4pm and Thursday at 10.45am.
