Banks are to blame

IT was totally irresponsible for the banks to lend up to five times a person's salary in many cases.
Without looking into whether or not they could repay the loan, often keeping up pressure for people to take out these loans.
No wonder how we continually hear about people out of their depths and struggling to repay.
While there is some responsibility for the borrower, I feel the banks have a lot to answer for over where we are now.
