Wood Croft,
Sowerby Bridge.

IT is great to read of the effort put into restoring 116 Allangate.
It has been mentioned in Property Today previously and in the Courier (Halifax Civic Trust awards, May 8). The owners and architects have to be praised for their ideas and planning to restore this beautiful building.

Yet the builders, joiners and other workers, including joiners Amitage and Clegg's Adam Potter and Brian Lord, have not been publicly recognised. Without them and their dedicated work the plans could not have come to fruition.
