Kingsbury Place,Queen's Road,
Halifax.

ON Saturday, April 19 there were about 10 "customers" waiting in D4 bay at Halifax bus station for the 11.35am 546 bus to Warley.
We saw the bus drive up C bay, whence it used to leave before the departure points were changed. To our dismay he went on the way to George Street, so we were left stranded.

I couldn't wait an hour for the next bus so had to get a taxi to Queen's Road, costing £4.30.

Do they not inform the drivers which bay to leave from? One man who was with us is 90! What a shabby transport service we have.

(Mrs) Maud Markliw

The service provided by thebuses is crap. Everyone who has ever used a bus knows that. What we must ask is why is the service to rubbish, the answer we seek is that the Bus companys who make such a forune, do so on a subsidy from the taxpayer. We should either Nationalize the public transport system or, scrap the subsidies and make the bus co's earn their own keep.

Bilabong, Marklew is an Anglo-Saxon name and a Markliw is a variation of this. You shouldn't assume as you say.
