So £10,000 a week in parking fines is not enough (Courier August 11).

How much more can Halifax take? We are going to lose what was once a beautiful and prosperous town.

I have had to put my car into storage because of petrol costs and loss of parking.

I don't go into town unless I have to. How many others will soon have no other choice but to do the same?

Get the fools out of the town hall and replace them with intellegent people who will return Halifax to how it once was – normal!

Don't make me laugh. Add the cost of bus fares and storage and it already costs more than your petrol
