Shaw Street,
Holywell Green.

IS Gordon Brown set to follow John Major as our second "grey" Prime Minister?
The parallels are quite start-ling, don't you think? As John Major struggled to follow Mag-gie Thatcher, Gordon seems to be struggling to follow Tony Blair.

Both John Major and dour Gordon lack the charisma necessary to make a great Prime Minister. Lacklustre Gordon looked very grey and appeared to have the weight of New Labour on his shoulders after last week's nightmare local elections.

With loose cannon Boris Johnson becoming the new Mayor of London, Gordon's nightmare is complete.

While grey John Major was reported to have his mistress, Edwina Currie, tuck his shirt in his underpants, our Gordon will need Kevlar-coated underpants if he is to slide on through the latest debacles, including abolishing the 10p tax rate, soaring council tax and fining householders for bins containing the wrong rubbish!

So as the sun sets on Kirkcaldy will this be Gordon's last highland fling and will he lose his position?

Donald Leach

I like Gordon Brown, he's a real liability to labour making them more and more unelectable.
Long may he lead them ;)
