Lib Dem defector should resign now

WE are constantly hearing about politicians as having their "snouts in the trough."
Well our newly-elected local councillor certainly has made sure his snout is well and truly in the trough.
Keith Watson stood as a Lib Dem candidate in the Greetland and Stainland ward, a sure, safe Lib Dem seat.
Having won a foregone conclusion, he promptly changes sides to the Conservatives, no doubt to be rewarded with a cabinet post and the large expenses cheque that goes with it.
How anyone can trust a man who has so blatantly lied to the electorate just to line his own nest?
Does this man think the people of Greetland and Stainland actually voted for him as an individual or because the Lib-Dem actually look after the ward?
The man is an absolute disgrace who obviously has no res-pect for democracy or the locals of Greetland and Stainland ward. He should resign now.
