Linda Riordan, MP for Halifax, was in Halifax Borough Market asking people to sign a petition to stop Margaret Thatcher from having a state funeral.

A bit ironic after two of her prime ministers have invited Mrs Thatcher to number 10 for tea.

Since being elected in 1997 the Labour party have carried out Thatcher-style policies with two illegal wars, post office closures and more madness by pushing forward privatisation, not forgetting more strikes in the public sector.

What a mess, Linda.

No wonder your party can't win elections anymore.

Colin Wilson

PrincessFiona,

Was she realy collecting signatures to prevent a state funeral for Thatcher? how indecent and tasteless!

But the fact remains the Tories removed her, and Labour took up her workload and yes she advised them.

Labour are the best Tory administration this country ever had.

Yet again, I have to differ. This Labour lot are too incompetent to be anywhere near "the best" Tory government we ever had.
