I am anxious to prevent the development of a worrying little notion that was spotted in Peter Holmes's letter in Your Say (October 7).
A suggestion was made by Mr. Holmes that the Evening Courier's William Marshall is really a southerner!
This I can absolutely deny! How do I speak with such authority? I am his mother and I was actually present at his birth right here in Southowram.
