TONY Dawber's article headlined "My kitchen's as green as grass" (Courier, July 12), containing the piece about a child's present to a parent and the actual rejection of that present should carry a word of warning.

Never reject a present from a child and never tell a porky to cover up that rejection. It is never worth it.
