I just wanted to write to say what a fantastic evening I spent last night at the newly renovated Victoria Theatre.

Kate Rusby and her band were fantastic and the sound and lighting were both excellent.

The new seating in the stalls, together with the carpeting, has made a huge difference to the overall comfort in the theatre.

It was good to see such a big audience attending and I can say that we were not disappointed.

It was one of the best shows I have ever seen either at the Victoria or elsewhere.

I can thoroughly recommend the "new" Victoria Theatre to your readers and I was especially pleased to see there are more folk shows happening there over the coming months.

To all at the theatre I can only say: Keep up the good work!
