Ride on my bus and see problems

AFTER reading the ridiculous statement from Coun Baines (Courier, July 11), I say if the council are not making enough in parking fines then obviously the foot soldiers who target illegal parkers are looking in the wrong areas.
Why don't the council use common sense and use photographic evidence on the so called two minute brigade, especially the school run parents? Or is this not lawful? Well, get the law changed then.
I am a bus driver and I invite Coun Baines on one or two of my nightmare bus runs.
I've said it before and I'll say it again – get CCTVs in use by schools and it will stop the two minute brigade after a fine or two and will also work as an anti-vandal deterrent.
Coun Baines, I ask you to take me up on my offer and also you and your colleagues to walk around the schools and witness the two minute brigade then the council may just eradicate the problem by bringing in new laws to fine these irresponsible parents and make half hour bus journey half an hour and not 40 to 50 minutes.
