On August 13 you printed a letter from me about non-existent appointments. The reply I have received might answer the letter (Courier, September 20) from Mrs McKelvie.

Why does the hospital not have its own department? I suppose it could be worse, they could be sent to a foreign country first.
I had a similar problem in 2006 with a heart appointment. A letter dated June 9 for a June 13 appointment, but postmarked June 13, arrived on June 16. This was happening back in 2006 and an investigation was taking place to find the reason.
