I READ the letter headlined "Our biscuits have been stolen too!" (Your say, July 9).

Given that these are highly trained people who can sort out vulnerable people, it makes one wonder why they can't solve the problem of some stolen biscuits.

How did this problem start in the first place and why has it been allowed to go on so long?
