I READ the splendid letter headlined
"Quicker we are out, the better" by SF Brown (Your say, September 29) and surprise, surprise, we had another letter from Brian
from Tideswell, no need to put the county as I think anybody who reads the Courier on a regular basis will be well aware of where he lives.
He cannot complain that democracy does not exist in the Courier as he has had countless letters published extolling the virtues of our being in the European Union, but I think that there will be quite a number of people living in Ireland who would disagree about democracy in the E.U.
Perhaps we could hear from Brian about his views on another subject, as I feel we are all rather tired of his repetitive tirade, I often feel that when people go on and on about the same subject, they do so to try and convince themselves. Give it a try Brian, you know what they say: variety is the spice of life!
In response to SF Brown, you are indeed not ploughing a lone furrow in your argument against our membership of the EU.
There are enough people in the UK willing to plough their own furrow and it would take all the fields in the UK to accommodate them.
