Maudsley Street,
Bradford

ON behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care, I would like to thank the volunteers and people of Halifax who supported our Great Daffodil Appeal during February and March.

The Halifax street collection on March 22 raised an excellent £142.33.
The collection could not have been successful without the help of our volunteers who stood, in all types of weather, giving away our distinctive daffodil pin badges in exchange for a donation.

The money raised will help us maintain our special services, through nurses in the community, for cancer patients and their families.

All our services are free of charge and we rely on the community for support. So we are most grateful to everyone who supported the campaign this year.

Claire Priestwood
(Calderdale community fund-raiser, Marie
Curie Cancer Care)
