Haugh Shaw Road,
Halifax.
I AM surprised about the outcome of the local elections. Not even a ripple of change; the same old people claiming their chairs and money.
I am tired of people telling me what a shambles the town is compared to other places.
So isn't it wake-up time for councillors?
K. Holmes

"So isn't it wake-up time for councillors? "
no it isn't
you don't think they become councillors to do anything do you?
what do you think all the consultants, advisors, officers and staff are for?
Becoming a councillor is the be all and end all of their ambitions, no more ideea than a pantomime horse about what to do or how to do it.
