More than 100 suspected cannabis plants were found at an address on Delamere Street in the West Bowling area of Bradford.

Officers supported by colleagues from the Special Constabulary recovered the plants being grown over two floors of the terraced property.

A man inside the premises was arrested for Cannabis Cultivation.

West Yorkshire Police Sergeant Michael Cheetham said: “I would encourage any residents who are concerned about premises in their community to contact the Police on either 101 or on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 where you can make the report anonymously.

“Are there premises near to your home where the curtains are always closed, do unknown people visit the locations at irregular times but do not live at the address, is there a strong unfamiliar smell near to the address that will not go away?

“If so, this could be a cannabis factory. Please get in touch and we will take action.”
