AN insurance firm is to create up to 25 new jobs in Halifax.
Provident Insurance, recently taken over by French mutual insurance group Covéa, is now expanding its workforce.
The new roles will be customer based and will involve assisting policyholders involved in road accidents.
It means the company staff level will rise to 420.
Adrian Furness, claims director at Provident, said: “We’re delighted our new ownership has enabled us to accelerate our growth and cement our strong position as a long- standing local employer, firmly committed to the Halifax area.
“We have a fantastic team here and it’s great to be able to announce new opportunities.
“We’d love to hear from people with good communication skills.”
