A feast of a food festival!

IT was a feast of entertainment at the Piece Hall during Halifax's first food and drink festival.
Local produce and exotic foods from around the world tantalised tastebuds at the weekend event. There were olives, cheeses, bread, cakes, pies, fudge, vegetables, traditional sweets, jams and savoury snacks.
And on Saturday night, there was a traditional beer keller where ale enthusiasts could raise a stein or two while dancing along to the Amazing Bavarian Stompers.
Visitor Tina Michael said: "We've had olives and garlic, and chilli cheese. It's good to support local farms."
