A man found having a shower in the women's changing rooms at Halifax Swimming Pool has appeared in court.
Stefan Zap, 36, of Sunningdale, Fair-weather Green, Bradford, pleaded not guilty to indecent exposure.
Pool attendants called police when they found him using the wrong changing room.
Eleese Hatton, for Zap, told Calderdale magistrates: "It was a genuine error."
Zap was remanded in custody and will appear in court again on December 30.

It sounds like an accident to me, the guy might be a little stupid but if no one was in there then it might be a completely innocent mistake.

I have wandered into all sorts of places by mistake during my time.

Oh come on even if he did it on purpose so what? You dont remand someone in custody for that! Get a grip and lock some real criminals up instead of community service!

He was using the (wrong) showers ? Hardly a crime, suppose the police could`ve been called if he became aggressive, or was "touching himself inappropriatly" but the man was having a shower! I think we lost our sense of proportion, and Mikk has a point, people are set free for far worse.
Anyone familiar with the song "the bold gendarmes"? pretty appropriate here methinks.

....you lot need to be asking yourself why someone has been remanded in custody for such a seemingly innocuous offence?????? The bench harldy ever remands anyone in custody these days, unless they have a long criminal career or history of skipping bail. You can probably be assured he is where he is after lengthy deliberations by the magistrates.
