Bid to beat yobs on buses and trains
A high-profile initiative to deter criminal and yobbish behaviour on Calderdale's transport network is being held tomorrow.
Operation Focus will see police officers travelling on trains and buses and patrolling stations, while providing high-visibility reassurance to passengers and staff.
It is led by British Transport Police and Metro, working with West Yorkshire Police, bus and train operating companies such as Northern Rail, Arriva and First, and the Safer Calderdale Partnership.
