CALDERDALE'S biggest landlord, Trans-Pennine Housing, has been given another thumbs up following an assessment by the Housing Corporation.
"It has successfully met or exceeded the standards set across all three key performance areas needed to ensure the quality of the services they offer to the people of Calderdale, Sheffield and Rossen-dale," said John Carleton, the corporation's northern director.

Trans-Pennine is the parent body of Pennine Housing 2000, which is responsible for 12,500 former council houses in Calderdale and Sheffield, and Green Valley Homes, which covers 3,700 properties in Rossendale.

The Housing Corporation is the Government's funder and regulator of housing associations in England.

Pennine's group chief executive, Tom Miskell, said he was delighted at again getting top marks from the corporation for being viable, properly governed and managed.
