Bus accident closes Halifax road

A BUSY Halifax road was closed after a dog ran out in front of a bus.
Haley Hill in Boothtown was closed both ways on Saturday afternoon while police investigated the accident involving the 576 service.
The bus was travelling towards Halifax at around 2.30pm when the dog ran out near the junction with Salisbury Place.
Two passengers, one elderly, were injured when the bus suddenly braked. One was taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital with serious chest injuries.
