A HALIFAX supermarket celebrated cutting the ribbon on its newly refurbished store with a charity gift.
Tesco on Aachen Way, Halifax, opened its doors after a revamp which has seen it stocked with new electrical goods and a pharmacy.
Staff presented a £500 cheque to Marie Curie Cancer Care at the opening.
Claire Priestwood, a fund-raiser for the charity, said: "I would like to thank the store for this generous gift, it will help enormously."
