THE circus is coming back by popular demand.
Just three months after performing company Mondao last pitched up their big top in the district, they will return with their show of daredevil trapeze artists, clowns and performing animals including camels, zebras, llamas and rabbits.
Petra Jackson, ringmistress, said: "Last time we were in Halifax it was the first sell out we have ever had and since then we've been receiving dozens of letters from people asking us to come back to the district – so that's exactly what we are doing."
They will set up at Blackshaw Beck Lane, Queensbury, on Wednesday September 17 and stay until Sunday 21 with two shows each day.
Ms Jackson said: "We can't wait to be back in the area and we promise an extra special show. There'll be something for everyone so, as they say, roll up roll up."

Whether it be Calderdale or Bradford council resposible for allowing this bunch of cruel people back into the area they ought to be ashamed of themselves and should change their mind NOW and not allow it....
