Dad faces charge of wife kidnap

A Halifax father has appeared before Calderdale magistrates charged with kidnapping the mother of his two children.
Majid Hussain Khan, 33, of Harrow Street, is accused of carrying out the kidnap on August 28 while on licensed release from prison.
He will also face three other charges – assault causing actual bodily harm, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance – when he appears before Bradford Crown Court on September 3.
He was refused bail.
