A YOUNG woman has told a court about the last moments of her best friend's life.
Naomi Gough, 19, of Brighouse, was killed after her car collided with a crash barrier on Burdock Way, Halifax, in January 2007.

Rachael Parr, then 21, who suffered severe injuries in the horrific smash, told Bradford Crown Court she remembered waking up in a small dark space after the collision.

She cried as she told Judge Robert Bartfield how Naomi's body was laid across her.

The pair had arranged to meet Craig Bergin, 20, of Shay Lane, in Halifax town centre before setting off to Brighouse in convoy.

Miss Parr said Bergin, who denies causing death by dangerous driving, swerved his Vauxhall Tigra toward's Miss Gough's Renault Clio causing her to lose control and fatally crash on the flyover.
