THE Dreamgirls have got their very own mascots, all of which are looking for dreamy new homes.
These six-week-old Staff-ordshire cross-breed puppies are all looking for new homes.

But they have been temporarily adopted by Kate Hardcastle, Lisa Roberts, Hannah Cygan-Wrobleski of soul band the Dream-girls.

They have been named Kate, Lisa, Hannah, Jackie Graham, Alexander O'Neal, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson after the Dreamgirls and their soul idols.

The girls, who were nominated for best new charity in the Courier community and environment awards, will be performing in the 2008 Soul and Motown Revue at The Victoria Theatre, Halifax, on October 4, from 7.30pm.

Animal lover Hannah, 31, originally from Hali-fax, has made the RSPCA Halifax and district branch as her chosen charity.

It means that funds raised from the gig will be split between the RSPCA, Endometriosis UK and the Samaritans.

Tickets for the concert can be bought from the Victoria Theatre box office on 01422 351158.
