Election fraud pair rebailed

A councillor and a prospective councillor arrested on suspicion of election fraud have been rebailed while police inquiries continue.

David Ginley, who was hoping to be re-elected to represent the Conservatives in the Warley ward, and Mohammed Rashid, standing for the Conservatives in the Park ward, were arrested shortly before the Calderdale Council elections.
