RIBBONS of all different colours were tied to trees to raise money.
The bows were paid for by people in support of Overgate Hospice in Elland.
So far over £7,000 has been raised for the group and community fund-raiser Laura Ramsden hopes this figure will rise.
She said: "This is the first year of this particular campaign and we were unsure over how it would be received. But we are so excited with how well it has gone."
Over 400 of the multicoloured ribbons have been tied to trees in the hospice garden.
Miss Ramsden said: "People can come on down and look at the ribbons and just reflect while they are here."
Anyone who wants to buy a ribbon can contact Overgate on 01422 387121.
