NEW dance moves, yoga positions and karate skills were all on offer at a community open day.
The Big Community Event at Victoria Hall in Queensbury showcased activities on offer in the village.

Visitors could look around a new children's centre, have their say on traffic issues, plans for a new youth area and get free business advice.

And they were invited to raise the issues they think should be addressed in the area to be put forward for a local action plan.

The event was organised by Bradford Council's area co-ordinators office, leisure services and the Queensbury Urban Village Partnership.

Acting assistant area co-ordiantor Mohammed Taj said the idea started with plans for a traffic consultation and grew to include council services, businesses and community groups.
