A TEENAGE girl escaped from her burning home after a suspected arson attack.
The 19-year-old fled the blaze that badly damaged the living room at the house in Nutfield Street, Todmorden.

Detectives are now working with investigators to pinpoint whether it was arson.

When fire crews arrived, they found residents restraining the girl – prompting fears others were trapped inside.

But investigations with a thermal-imaging camera showed no one else.
Fire station watch manager Geoff Shaw said: "The living room had severe smoke and heat damage."

Witnesses should call 01422 337085 or CrimeStoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
