THE Hebden Bridge man, among 22 environmental protesters accused of stopping a train carrying coal to Drax Power Station, near Selby, has been found guilty.
Paul Morozzo, 42, and the other activists who are based around the UK, were found guilty of obstructing the train for 16 hours in June last year, after a trial at Leeds Crown Court today.
The protestors, who include a Leeds University geography lecturer, all denied the charge and claimed they were acting to stop deadly carbon emissions from Drax.
They are expected to be sentenced in September and have been told to expect a fine or a community order.
