Children across the district celebrated Islam Awareness Week.
Beech Hill Junior and Infant School, Halifax, hosted a series of workshops for youngsters and their parents promoting activites centred around the faith.

Canadian artist Dawud Wharnsby taught children the skills of Nashedd art, which is a cross between country and western and pop music.
Saisir Hussian, Halifax branch organiser of the Islamic Society of Britain, said the aim was to get communities joining with those of different backgrounds.
