HEBDEN Bridge residents were walking in a winter wonderland this afternoon.
Film crews rolled into town this morning to create the Christmas scene for what is believed to be a Sainsbury's advertising campaign.

With a bit of help from the production team, shopfronts were dusted with snow and a large Christmas tree appeared in the square.

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver was expected to appear late afternoon to shoot what could be the Christmas campaign.

Last year's campaign featured the TV chef bumping into presenting duo Ant and Dec.

There is one in Mytholmroyd, and people who live there always list their address as Hebden when they sell their houses!

Think it might be using the hobbledy, cobbledy of the street for the backdrop of the advert rather than the Sainsbury store.

Artificial snow? Is that a result of global warming?

Fiona was there in an official capacity - a bit part acting as - a wiggly bit.
You'll see it, on the floor squirming until the moggy runs off with it.

My Wife "starred" in "Last of The Summer Wine"
She was being filmed as Bill reversed his roller into her Maestro. Mucho dento. She was not pleased!
Bill brought her home and proved just how great a guy he was. He sent a small lenght of tape with his prediction that it would be still worth nowt in around 50 years.
