M62 delays after woman falls from bridge

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident on the M62 this morning (Monday).
It is understood a woman fell from a bridge near junction 27 at Gildersome before being hit by several vehicles and killed.
The incident at 5.45am caused severe traffic congestion on the westbound carriageway.
