A man accused of attempting to murder his ex-girlfriend has appeared before Bradford Crown Court.
Andrew Banks, 41, of Hebble Vale Drive, Halifax, was initially charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm but the charge was amended at an earlier hearing.

He did not enter any pleas and the plea and case management hearing was adjourned until April 17.

His trial is due to start on May 7.

Banks's ex-girlfriend is alleged to have suffered a number of stab wounds during an incident in Wheatley, Halifax, over Christmas.
Banks was remanded in custody.
