DETECTIVES investigating the disappearance of a nine-year-old girl are to hold another press conference.

Shannon Matthews was reported missing from her home on Moorside Road, Dewsbury Moor, Dewsbury on Tuesday.

CCTV footage is due to be released at the conference to be held at Dewsbury police station, at 4.30pm.

Police have been trawling through CCTV footage from local businesses and houses in the search for Shannon and are urging anyone who may have footage and has not been approached by officers to hand it over.

Police are continuing their searches for Shannon with dedicated teams working throughout the area.

Following a meeting with police at the local community centre last night, local residents again assisted officers in passing out posters of Shannon.
