A MAN broke into a household waste site to steal scrap.
William Willis, 36, of Brunel Court, Boothtown, Halifax, admitted stealing household items from Calderdale Council waste site at Lee Bridge, Dean Clough, Halifax. He was caught and arrested at the site.
Willis tested positive for cocaine and opiates and had 22 previous theft offences on his record.
Calderdale magistrates adjourned sentencing until October 16.
