STAINLAND Road in West Vale will be closed from midnight on Saturday until midnight on Monday.
Urgent works need to be carried out to gas and water covers along the stretch of road. As a result only one lane of the carriageway will be open and traffic towards West Vale will be diverted through Elland.

The work has been programmed during the half term break to minimise disruption.

Access to all the businesses in West Vale will be maintained throughout the work and people should follow the diversions.

So that makes it clearer, the signs only say southbound and I keep forgeting to take my compass....
Ignoring the bridge fiasco, how many times has that bit of road been dug up for pipeworks??? When will they get it right?
