Tesco staff were encouraged by shoppers during their 12 hour "bike-a-thon."
Forty workers took turns on an exercise bike at Tesco, Buttershaw, to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Produce manager Carol Turner said customers gave money and she hoped £1,000 would be raised.

The store has pledged to raise a total of £2,000 for Marie Curie which is Tesco's charity of the year and the supermarket will top-up money raised in its stores by 20 per cent.
