A MAN has been fined after shouting and swearing at police community support officers.
Joseph Reynolds, 44, of Aloe Field View, Halifax, admitted using threatening and abusive behaviour when he appeared before Calder-dale magistrates.
Andy Wills, prosecuting, said officers were on duty at Wade Street, Halifax when they saw Reynolds at the bus station shouting "look at those toy soldiers".
Mr Wills, said: "The officers approached him and asked him if anything was wrong, Reynolds swore, said he hated the police and described the PCSOs as part-timers."
He then spat on the floor before asking if they wanted a fight.
He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £60 costs.
